Beneficial Effects of Aquatic Therapy for Cerebral Palsy Children and Adolescents

This research poster examines whether gross motor function, quality of life, and respiratory systems are enhanced after participating in aquatic therapy rehabilitation programs among children and adolescents diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Research reveals aquatic therapy is beneficial due to the buoyancy of the water, antigravity positions, weight reduction, relaxing environment, and decreased compressive forces on joints, making it easier and more comfortable for Cerebral Palsy patients to move through stretches and exercises.
