Patient Outcomes Related To Natural Environment And Greenspace

Natural environments have known health benefits such as stress reduction, improved mental and physical health, decreased obesity, improved cognitive ability and focus. This project looks at patient outcomes when they are exposed to natural lighting, open windows, and appealing natural views. If patient outcomes improved with these factors then we are proposing that more greenspace be implemented in healthcare settings.
